Economic Development
GVI, in partnership with Riverside and San Bernardino's Workforce Investment Boards and through the funding of Regional Industry Clusters of Opportunity are focusing investments on industry clusters in order to have economic impacts on workers and businesses. Workers gain access to career pathways for employment in competitive green industries and businesses gain access to specialized workforce.
Comprehensive Economic Development Strategy
We are in the midst of reviewing and updating the CEDS and are identifying the impacts this document (2008 version) had on the region. The information provided will assist us in developing a collective thumbprint identifying the programs and projects funded through our initial CEDS. It will also help in quantifying the U.S. Department of Commerce Economic Development Agency’s contributions to our region.
